Amex x Kendrick
Long known as the standard for premier customer service, American Express continues to give Card Members unrivaled access to the most exclusive live music, sports and entertainment.
Take that one year we collaborated with Kendrick Lamar to put on a super intimate, 500-person show at The Music Hall of Williamsburg. (Needless to say, that’s no ordinary Kendrick show.)
But instead of simply announcing the show, we decided to create a series of cryptic, social teasers that got fans talking from all over, before eventually breaking the news that it was an Amex exclusive.

“Is Kendrick announcing a new album? Mixtape? Tour?”
We left fans wondering with a cryptic teaser, also featuring artist Shantell Martin.
The next day, we released another one hinting at something in Brooklyn and left it at that.
A day later, we announced the show and put tickets on sale for Amex Members.
(Tickets sold out in 15 minutes.)
Never one to disappoint, we later announced a Facebook Live stream of the show to give everyone a taste of #AmexAccess.
